Moving in JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers)
Jumeirah Lake Towers sits on the inland side of Sheikh Zayed Road opposite Dubai Marina, and it was developed by DMCC. Roughly 80 towers stand around three artificial lakes, grouped into clusters of three buildings lettered A to Z, with Almas Tower on its own island in the middle. Most towers are between 35 and 45 floors and mix offices with residential floors, so a JLT move is as likely to be a small office relocation as a family flat.
The cluster letter matters more than the street address. When you book, give us the tower name and cluster (for example, Cluster D or Cluster Y) so the driver goes straight to the right car park entrance. Getting around the lakes by road takes longer than the map suggests, because traffic is channelled through a ring of internal roads with limited turning points. The DMCC and Sobha Realty metro stations on the Red Line sit on the Sheikh Zayed Road side, and the JLT tram stop links to the DMCC station, which is handy for residents but means heavy foot traffic at rush hour.
Each tower in JLT has its own building management, and they do not all follow the same rules. Some issue a move permit on request with a refundable deposit, some want a list of crew names and vehicle plate numbers in advance, and most restrict moves to set hours using the service lift only. Towers with offices on the lower floors may limit residential moves on weekday mornings. We confirm the paperwork with you before the day, pad lift interiors if management asks, and load from the basement.
