Moving in JVT (Jumeirah Village Triangle)
Jumeirah Village Triangle is the quieter, lower-density neighbour of JVC, built by Nakheel and split into nine districts with more than 13,000 homes. The core of the community is villas and townhouses, with Mediterranean and Arabian-style designs in Districts 5, 6, 8 and 9, plus a growing number of apartment buildings around the edges, such as Al Manara Tower and The Imperial Residence near Al Khail Road. Villas run from two to five bedrooms, often on large plots with gardens, so a JVT job is often a whole-house move with outdoor furniture, play equipment and garage storage.
The triangle is bounded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) and Al Khail Road (E44), with JVC, Dubai Sports City, Dubai Production City and The Springs nearby. There is no metro station inside JVT, and residents get around by car. Inside the villa districts the streets are residential and fairly narrow, with cars parked on driveways and verges, so we usually send the truck that suits the street rather than the biggest one available and plan where it can stand without blocking neighbours. Schools such as Sunmarke in District 5 and Arcadia in District 9 add traffic at drop-off and pick-up times, and we avoid those windows where we can.
Nakheel manages permits for its own villas and buildings through its online services, typically asking for Ejari, Emirates ID, a recent DEWA bill and the mover's details. Apartment buildings put up by other developers have their own building management with separate rules. For villa moves we often combine packing and moving with our other services: furniture assembly, curtain and TV mounting by the handyman team, or repainting walls in the old house before the keys go back to the landlord.

How long does a villa move within JVT usually take?
It depends on the size of the house and how much is already packed. A fully packed three- or four-bedroom villa moving a short distance may be done in a day, while larger homes or full packing services can take longer. Do JVT villas need a move permit?
