Moving in Al Qusais
Al Qusais sits on Dubai's side of the Sharjah border, next to Al Nahda, Al Twar and Muhaisnah, and it is one of the closest residential districts to our Deira office. The residential part is divided into Al Qusais 1, 2 and 3. Most of what we move here comes out of low-rise apartment blocks, with a handful of mid-rise towers, while Al Qusais 2 also has larger villas, many with five or six bedrooms and a maid's room. North of the housing, the five Al Qusais Industrial Areas run up to the border and are full of warehouses, workshops and offices, so a good share of our work in the district is commercial: stock, racking, office furniture and files.
The district is framed by Al Ittihad Road (E11) on one side and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) on the other, with Damascus Street, Amman Street, Beirut Street and Al Qusais Main Road carrying local traffic in between. Peak-hour congestion is a known drawback, and the evening flow towards Sharjah on both highways is heavy. There is also an RTA ban on trucks and heavy vehicles on Emirates Road between Al Awir Street and Sharjah, in the Sharjah direction, from 5:30pm to 8pm. For that reason we load Al Qusais jobs in the morning or around midday, particularly when the truck is heading north afterwards.
Al Qusais is an established neighbourhood rather than a single gated master community, so the rules that matter on moving day usually come from the building itself: whether the service lift has to be booked, what hours removals are allowed and whether the watchman needs a list of names. We ask for those details before confirming a date. Apartment buildings here generally have covered parking for residents and street parking for visitors, so we agree in advance where the truck can stand while loading. Villa moves in Al Qusais 2 are simpler, with private garages and driveways that let us load right next to the door.

Can you move us from Al Qusais to Sharjah in the evening?
We can, but we don't recommend it. Evening traffic towards Sharjah on the E11 and E311 is slow, and the RTA bars trucks from Emirates Road towards Sharjah between 5:30pm and 8pm. A morning or early-afternoon start lets us finish unloading before the evening peak.
Do you move offices and warehouses in Al Qusais Industrial Area?
